The Perfect Pedicure

Here are ten things you can do to keep those toes summer ready throughout the winter.

1. Keep it short! Clip your toe nails to a quarter inch short and use a file to round the edges.

2. Chill you don’t need a whirlpool jet to feel pampered, just soak your feet in one part milk and two parts water with a scoop of Epsom salt to gently exfoliate and relax tired feet.

3. After a relaxing soak, use moisturizing oil on each nail. Then push those cuticles back with a metal or plastic cuticle pusher.

4. A natural lava pumice stone will exfoliate your heels. Then use a body scrub to even out the roughness. To tackle calluses try using a pedegg to smooth over the excess roughness.

5. My favorite moisturizer is Body Butter from The Body Shop. It can be purchases at Sephora and used all over not just your feet. It comes in various scent and is made with organic Shea butter Coco butter and various fruit and nut oils for additional moisturizing properties.

6. Go bright with your nail color! Use a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol so that your first coat adheres. I love polish by L.A nails and Sally Hansen they dry fast and have great hues.

7. A great way to go Nude is to use a bottle of off white and add a few sprinkles of your mineral face powder and shake it up to create a nude that’s truly you! Genius!

8. Be sure to clean around the skin where excess polish may settle. Use an angled eyed eyeliner brush to get in those tricky corners without messing up the nail.

9. In a hurry to get out the door? Use a quick dry top coat to finish off the look you just created. Use a blow dryer to seal it and be on your way!

10. Still a mistake? Just apply one layer of polish and top coat to correct it of go over all ten with a sparkle to mask the dents!
